December in the year of our Lord 2003
Welcome fellow Pilgrims,
You have joined a long series already in progress wherein we are scrutinizing the wonderful letter to the Hebrews week by week to discern the saving covenantal doctrines realized in Christ alone.
We are not ashamed to announce boldly before all men that with the coming of Jesus Christ and the announcement of the New Covenant – that thereby the Old Covenant Church is now superceeded and is by necessity - now only a relic of an earlier dispensation of promised grace foreshadowed in the ordinances of the law given through Moses.
Certainly, all of those ancient brethren who looked forward to the coming of their and our Messiah are saved in and through Him alone. However, with the coming of Christ and the beginning of His eternal reign the old order is thereby pushed aside as our great Prophet – Priest – King reigns supreme over all those citizens of His Kingdom whom He has called and elected as a people for His own in this world and the next.
