The New International Version (1984) translation of the Bible was used throughout many of our postings to the Web.
Now that the copyright owner has determined to feminize any future translations of this once fine work - I can no longer recommend the translation.
Neither do I have the time and energy to go back and rewrite hundreds of sermons and articles where I had once gladly used the 1984 Edition of the NIV.
