SECTION 1. We strive to be Biblical:

"The holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the word of God,
the only rule of faith and obedience." (Larger Catechism 3)

12. We teach that the scriptures reveal a covenant of grace.

SECTION 2. We are Reformed in Theology:

"The scriptures principally teach, what man is to believe concerning
God and what duty God requires of man." (Larger Catechism 5)

21. We believe in the Sovereignty of God.

22. We understand that we are called to live godly and holy lives.

23. We seek to make every thought and action submissive to God.

SECTION 3. We are Evangelical in Witness:

"Redemption is certainly applied, and effectually communicated,
to all those for whom Christ hath purchased it; who are in time
by the Holy Ghost enabled to believe in Christ according to the
gospel." (Larger Catechism 59)

31. We believe that God has a plan for our salvation.

32. We understand that we are to make that plan known to all men.

SECTION 4: We Regulate the Worship of God:

"The second commandment forbiddeth the worshipping of God by
any images, or any other way not appointed in His Word." (Larger Catechism 51)

41. We believe that Holy Scripture must regulate our worship.

SECTION 5: We are Presbyterian in Government:

"For the better government, and the further edification of the Church
there ought to be such assemblies as are commonly called Synods or
Councils; ...". (Westminster Confession 31.1)

51. We have patterned our government on Scriptural principles.

SECTION 6: What Membership Means to Us:

"Those only who have made a profession of faith in Christ, have been baptized, and admitted by the Session to the Lord's Table, are entitled to all the rights and privileges of the church". (Form of Government 6.2)

61. We take seriously what it means to be members of the visible church.
