Introduction:  We have had since World War Two a self-designed esoteric institution of nebulous qualities:  a humanistic United Nations – if it could be allowed to grow in influence and power, dedicated to world peace.  Unfortunately, like the spurious League of Nations before it – the projected goals of the organization existed in a moral and religious vacuum.  Since all religions must be equal in their assumptions and any type of government recognized as valid, very few ideas and policies of substance and reality have come to be engaged seriously.  Impotent would be a kind word to describe the real abilities of the organization which has failed consistently to achieve even a modest degree of peace on earth and prosperity for all.  In fact the innate corruption of this organization in dolling out dollars for peace to Iraq is becoming the great scandal of 2004!  This organization and all of its component parties aptly demonstrate the attributes and interests of the “City of Man” as Augustine would name it so many centuries before.
